Save the Date! Trojan Night Out will take place Saturday, November 7 at 6 pm at the Beloit Municipal Building. Special honorees will be the 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1996 State Championship Football teams. More information to come!

On Saturday, November 14, Beloit will host its 1st annual cornhole tournament starting at 11 am at the Mitchell County Fairground Building. $50 per team entry, call or text Shane at 785-738-7499 to sign up. Big T's food truck and a beer garden will be available that day.

Declaration 1776: The Big Bang of Modern Democracy, a special traveling exhibition from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History will tour 46 Kansas cultural institutions between January 3 and December 31, 2026. The traveling exhibit will be at the Mitchell County Historical Society Museum from November 16 through December 30.

On November 21 (9 am-2 pm) and 22 (1-3 pm), there will be a hunter's safety course at Lakeside Elementary in Cawker City. $10 per student, and must be at least 11 years old. Contact certified instructor Trent Duskie at 785-534-0351 or trent.duskie@usd272.org to sign up.
